SPH Expands the Parenting Support through the Launch of Two Parenting Podcast Channels

Sekolah Pelita Harapan (SPH) has taken the next step in partnering with its parents in transforming their children’s life by providing Christian parenting resources through its parenting podcast. The school did not just launch one, but two channels to serve both national and international parents.
Rooted Parenting Podcast was the first podcast launched on Oct, 3 2023. This podcast is delivered in English and is hosted by Natalie Mann, a mother of six and also the wife of SPH’s Executive Director, Matthew Mann. This podcast will cover various Christian parenting topics in insightful discussions with various speakers, ranging from students, parents, and experts to professionals.
Cherish Parenting Podcast, on the other hand, was launched a bit later on to serve Indonesian parents with relevant topics. Adorned by prominent guest speakers and parenting experts, this podcast is hosted by Ibu Soekarmini, Head of SPH Parenting Unit, and also a mother of five and a grandmother of six. Through this podcast, Ibu Soekarmini and distinguished guest speakers will cover various parenting topics ranging from character building to how to guide children in answering their calling in life .
SPH launches this program as a part of its commitment to partner with parents in transforming their children’s lives into one that God desires. Through these podcasts, SPH aims to encourage Christian parents to respond to God’s calling in teaching their children to love Jesus (Deuteronomy 6:4-9) and also to equip Christian parents in raising their children amidst the current trends and culture that tends to stray further away from the Christian Faith (John 17:14-16, Rome 12:1-2). The two podcasts have one goal: equipping and encouraging parents to honor their calling as parents and to honor God.
We pray that through the Rooted Parenting and Cherish Parenting Podcast, parents everywhere can be equipped to an effective instruments in God’s hands.
