Edo was born to a simple family and lives in a simple dwelling -- a house with a dirt floor and wooden crate walls. Despite this, Edo, who is in grade 2, remains enthusiastic about living his life. To stay in school, he helps collect used plastic items to sell to contribute to his family's income. Together with his father and mother, Edo sorts through garbage looking for items of value that could be resold. In the past his father also sold decorative balloons to earn money.
Even though he is diligent in helping his family every day, Edo is not negligent in his responsibilities as a student at SLH Gunung Agung in Lampung. Edo tries to actively participate in learning activities even though his handphone lacks sufficient memory to run the learning applications he needs to use. None of this dampens his enthusiasm for learning.
At school he is known as an active and agile child and always does the tasks he is given well. Edo is committed to learning in hopes of improving his future because he realizes that the struggle to be able to continue to study, given his family's limited economic condition, is real.
